Here's a few pictures of the tail assembly being trial fitted and checked for accuracy along with full and free movement of elevators and rudder.
Here the tailplane, fin and rudder have been fitted to the fuselage. Alignment checks using string lines and measurements along with laser levels all work toward high degrees of accuracy.
Details shown are of the mounting feet of the fin being bolted to the tailplane spade fittings. Of note is the paper shims used to confirm fit and squareness.
