Flap trailing edge build up

The trailing edge of the flaps is made up of three extrusions joined by two s shaped splices.

The inner and outer extrusions are slightly aerofoil in shape while the middle extrusion is symmetrical.

Firstly the T/E has existing holes in original ribs back drilled into it and the rest of the rivet pattern is marked out based on this and drilled into T/E and skin

With the final position of the T/E now established the skin is marked out and then cut and shaped to have the same profile and ends of T/E trimmed to size.
