Oil Tank Pick Up and Dipstick
The oil pickup was disassembled cleaned and inspected - reassembled. A new dipstick was made as per drawing and will be fastened to filler cap.
Completed "Donkey dick" ( a nickname this assembly is known by at Pioneer! ) Note the new lockwire safeting the bolts and castle nuts.

The black sludge of time has helped preserve this assembly. This photo shows just how good the condition was. This also demonstrates how important it is to inspect and assess all wreckage, as this assembly was removed from the very damaged original tank.
