Progress on the LH Flap is going very well, as all the tricky details of which order the components
need to be riveted together has been established and perfected after completing the first flap.
First step once again is to join all the ribs to the spar as a rough skeleton. Providing access to form all of the rivets which have a tail inside the spar and won’t be accessible when the skin is attached.
Next the end cap ribs are attached by the single rivet that has a tail that will be covered by the spar, only one rivet is done initially so that the end caps remain flexible enough to be pushed gently aside so the skeleton structure can be placed in between.
With the stringers now clear to be attached they are installed, as well as the remaining tabs to finish securing the stringers completely.
